Mid-Missouri PrideFest Visitor Agreement

Mid-Missouri PrideFest is a free, family-friendly event designed to celebrate love, diversity, and inclusion. By entering the PrideFest footprint, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies help ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all attendees. Your presence at the event signifies your acceptance of this agreement.

1. Code of Conduct

• Respect for All: Mid-Missouri PrideFest is an inclusive space that celebrates diversity. Discrimination or harassment of any kind, including but not limited to race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, religion, or cultural background, will not be tolerated.
• Family-Friendly Environment: Attendees of all ages are welcome. Please be mindful of your actions, language, and attire to ensure a positive, family-friendly atmosphere.
• Consent is Key: Unwanted physical contact, photography without permission, and disrespectful behavior toward others are strictly prohibited.
• Zero Tolerance for Violence: Physical altercations, threats, or acts of aggression will result in immediate removal from the event and may lead to legal action.

2. Safety & Security

• Bag Checks: All visitors are subject to bag checks by Safety Officers upon entry. Prohibited items include weapons, illegal substances, and any items deemed unsafe by event staff.
• Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited within the event area:
  • Firearms, knives, and other weapons
  • Illegal drugs or substances
  • Fireworks or explosives
  • Large banners or signs that may obstruct views or endanger others
  • Pets (with the exception of service animals)

3. Free Admission

No Cost to Attend: Entry to Mid-Missouri PrideFest is free. While food, beverages, and merchandise will be available for purchase, participation in the event is open to all without an admission fee.

4. Media & Photography

• Consent to Photography/Videography: By entering Mid-Missouri PrideFest, you agree to be photographed, filmed, or recorded by official event staff or media partners. These materials may be used for promotional purposes.
• Personal Photography: We encourage capturing the moment, but please respect the privacy of others. Always ask for permission before taking photos of individuals or groups.

5. Liability

• Assumption of Risk: Attendees participate at their own risk. Mid-Missouri PrideFest is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses that occur during the event.
• No Refunds: As a free event, no refunds are applicable. In the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the event will continue as scheduled unless otherwise stated.

6. Health and Safety

• COVID-19 Protocols: We encourage visitors to follow current health guidelines, including but not limited to mask-wearing, hand sanitization, and social distancing when appropriate.
• First Aid Services: If you require medical assistance, please approach one of our Safety Officers or visit the designated First Aid station.

7. Responsible Alcohol Consumption

• Age Verification: Alcohol will only be served to individuals 21 years or older with valid identification. Anyone found providing alcohol to underage attendees will be removed from the event.
• No Outside Alcohol: Outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted within the event area.

8. Event Changes

Mid-Missouri PrideFest reserves the right to change the event schedule, programming, and layout at any time without prior notice.

9. Agreement to Rules

By attending Mid-Missouri PrideFest, you agree to abide by all the rules and guidelines stated above. Non-compliance may result in removal from the event without recourse.
