Thank you for joining us in celebrating diversity, equality, and love at the Mid-Missouri PrideFest Parade. We are excited to have you as a part of our vibrant and inclusive community event.

Please complete the registration form below to secure your spot in the parade. The cost to register is a $75.00 donation. We look forward to seeing your creativity and enthusiasm as we march together in support of LGBTQIA+ pride and visibility. Let's make this year's parade unforgettable!

Directions and Guidelines for Parade Participants

Line-Up Instructions:

  • Line-Up Time: 11:00am - 11:55am
  • Location: The Armory Parking Lot, 701 E Ash Street, Columbia, MO 65201

Upon arrival:

  1. Check-In: Give your name to the lot attendant.
  2. Receive Number: The lot attendant will give you a number and direct you to your designated location.
  3. Display Number: Keep your number readily available and be prepared to show it as you are directed into the parade.

Vehicles will be assigned parking spots based on your sign-up choices.

Parade Guidelines:

  1. Item Distribution:
    • Throwing items such as candy or beads is prohibited by a City of Columbia Ordinance.
    • You MUST hand out any items to parade spectators.
  2. Vehicle Notification:
    • If you plan to have more than one vehicle in the parade, notify the Parade Chair before September 20th for efficient lineup planning.
  3. Spacing:
    • Maintain a minimum distance of two car lengths behind the group in front of you to ensure proper spacing.
  4. Participant Types:
    • Cars, floats, walking groups, and troops are all welcome to participate in the parade.
  5. Parade Duration:
    • The parade will last approximately one hour.
  6. Post-Parade Transportation:
    • Be prepared to walk back to Rose Park or arrange transportation to pick you up on the streets surrounding 4th Street north of Broadway.
  7. Float Direction:
    • All floats will be directed to turn right on 4th Street and continue back into traffic after the parade.
