Calvary Episcopal Church

Hi! We are Calvary Episcopal Church, and open and affirming congregation in downtown Columbia. Our church and our regional governance structure take great joy in walking alongside our siblings in the LGBTQIA+ community, and believe that God’s love is open to all.

Boone County Family Resources

Boone County Family Resources serves persons of all ages and income levels with a diagnosed developmental disability who reside in Boone County.

Each of us have differing values, abilities and needs. Although different, we all value the opportunity to belong, reach our goals and actively participate in our community. Because each person served is unique, we assist with creating an individualized plan including agency services and supports – a plan to thrive in the community, connect with others and achieve personal goals.

Boone County Family Resources was established by the passage of a special property tax levy in 1976. Citizens of Boone County supported this measure to help people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Better Together Mental Health

Better Together Mental Health is a private mental health practice that offers a range of mental health services.  We plan to offer ice pops and information about mental health resources.  We are partnering with the Queer Joy Poetry Project to offer on-site poems.  People are welcome to make a donation for this service and this money will be used to offer a group for queer individuals at Better Together.  We are also exploring sharing materials/products that also elevate the art and products produced by queer artists.  Any money will be donations for services.
